Our family stayed at "Honeypot" villa in Orlando last February, and I must say it was spectacular. The location, the amenities, and the care and attention to detail that Glenda has put into her home utterly “made” our vacation.
We’ve rented villas in Florida before, but this was one of the best! The home was immaculate, fully furnished, and very beautiful.
The location was great -- only a few minutes from Disney, or the strip of shops and restaurants, but not so close that you felt you were in a big city necessarily. The housing development is quiet and well maintained. The pool was warm and clear, and the Jacuzzi was a very welcome feature to return to after a whole day at the parks!
I wanted to take the master bedroom (king size bed with lovely duvet and crisp cotton sheets), and master bathroom (huge sunken tub and walk in shower) home with me! Of course, failing that, we’ll have to settle for another, more lengthy, visit at the soonest possible opportunity!
The other bedrooms were wonderful as well, with beautifully themed décor. Although we didn’t use it, the high speed Internet was a feature we really liked. We didn’t do much email, since it was -40C back home, and everyone else thought we were quite spoilt being in Florida. Didn’t much make us want to leave!
The kitchen was beautifully equipped, and the games room was perfect for spending a quiet afternoon when Mom and Dad were too pooped to go back to the parks!
Prior to arrival, we found all the information we required in emails from Glenda, and I must say she thought of pretty much everything!
All in all, we’d highly recommend Glenda as an A-1 host for a lovely trip to Orlando.

We were totally impressed with the Honey Pot! What a lovely home! Completely supplied, just like being one's own home. Close to everything and anything a person could want but yet set back away from all the hubbub and in a very quiet neighborhood. That our greyhound girls were welcome....a total bonus for us. Thanks Glenda for making our Florida vacation extra special via your home. Jean Erie, Pa. |
